1. Mission Statement
Blackshear Heights Family (BHF) is dedicated to strengthening community well-being through education, advocacy, outreach, and supportive programs that empower families and individuals.

3. Code of Conduct
Employees, volunteers, and representatives of BHF must act professionally and respectfully at all times.
Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or retaliation of any kind will not be tolerated.
Confidentiality of client, partner, and internal information must be maintained.
Conflicts of interest must be disclosed and managed appropriately.

5. Workplace Standards

Workplace Safety: Everyone must follow safety guidelines and immediately report hazards or incidents.
6. Volunteer & Employee Guidelines
Volunteers must complete an application, background check, and orientation before serving.
Hours must be accurately recorded for community service credit or reporting.
Employees and volunteers represent BHF at all times and are expected to uphold organizational values.
7. Technology & Social Media
Use of BHF devices, email, and accounts must be professional and related to organizational activities.
Personal use of social media must not misrepresent or damage the reputation of BHF.
Any public communication on behalf of BHF requires prior approval.
8. Confidentiality
Information about clients, donors, and internal operations is strictly confidential.
Sharing such information without authorization is grounds for dismissal or termination.
9. Anti-Bullying & Harassment
BHF maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and discrimination.
Concerns must be reported immediately to leadership and will be investigated promptly.
10. Disciplinary Action
Violation of company policies may result in corrective action including verbal/written warnings, suspension, termination, or removal from volunteer duties.
11. Acknowledgment
All employees, contractors, and volunteers must sign an acknowledgment form confirming they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with BHF policies.
